About the role

This role manages nationwide and local SEO initiatives: improving website rankings, increasing organic traffic, and supporting lead generation through search optimization, content strategy and website improvements. It is hands-on work across on-page, off-page and technical SEO, keyword optimization, content creation, backlink strategy and website management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute nationwide and local SEO strategies.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and search intent analysis.
  • Optimize website pages, metadata, headings, URLs, internal linking and content structure.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and identify website optimization opportunities.
  • Improve search engine rankings and organic website traffic.
  • Create and optimize landing pages focused on lead generation and conversions.
  • Manage SEO-focused blog creation, content optimization and publishing strategy.
  • Develop and execute backlink building and outreach campaigns.
  • Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversions and SEO performance.
  • Manage website updates, improvements, integrations and ongoing optimization.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content and development teams to implement SEO best practices.
  • Align SEO strategy with social media and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare SEO reports and provide actionable recommendations for growth.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in SEO, digital marketing and organic growth strategies.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors and SEO best practices.
  • Experience with keyword research, SEO audits, on-page SEO, off-page SEO and technical SEO.
  • Strong understanding of content optimization, backlink strategies and conversion-focused landing pages.
  • Ability to analyze SEO data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience managing websites through CMS platforms such as WordPress.
  • Experience with B2B, technology, SaaS or IT services websites.
